"The King's Own" card sent home to his mother on 20th September 1918 by Private John Yeudall of the 1st Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

Embroidered Postcard with Lion badge and ‘The King’s Own’ and ‘Greetings From’ on the silk flap, with provision for small card on the inside.

King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment Card and right "Souvenir From France" 55th West Lancashire Division.  The red rose and two leafy stems being the divisional badge.
Accession Numbers: Left KO2490/919 and right KO0865/14



Embroidered silk postcard, with the badge of the 55th West Lancashire Division.  On the rear of the card is written "To my dear sons Benny and Robert.  I send you this card with the best of love.  From your loving father Benjamin Heap."  Private Benjamin Heap, number 202607 served with the 1st/5th Battalion, of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, which was part of the 55th Division.
