Brass shoulder title '1 LV': 1st Lancastrian Volunteers, 1960s-early 1970s.  This was the unit which replaced 4/5 King's Own Royal Regiment and was itself disbanded and in Cumbria and North Lancashire became the 4th Battalion (Territorial Army) King's Own Royal Border Regiment.
Accession Number: KO1334/01.  Also KO1334/02


Brass shoulder title 'CMP', Corps of Military Police, worn by Corporal J W Salkeld, number 3715377, King's Own Royal Regiment and later Corps of Military Police, served 1939-1946.
