Brass 'Lancaster' shoulder title, other ranks, from around 1895 onwards.

Brass 'Lancaster' shoulder title found on Spion Kop, South Africa, in 2001, the scene of a battle in January 1900 in the Anglo-Boer War.  2nd Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

White metal 'T 5 King's Own' shoulder title worn by the 5th (Territorial Force) Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment from 1908 onwards.

Brass metal 'T 5 King's Own' shoulder title worn by the 5th (Territorial Force) Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment from 1908 onwards.  Troops in France and Belgium in 1915 can be seen with this titles, however as the war progressed many 5th Battalion soldiers ended up wearing the ordinary 'King's Own' titles.
