Pair of plastic spectacles, ‘These were given to Private Sellars at the
casualty clearing station by the stretcher bearers that had brought him
in. They belonged to a Ghurka soldier who had lain over him during an
enemy barrage, after he had been wounded, and when the stretcher bearers
had found them the unknown Ghurka was dead.
