Gunner E J T McCalmont - Gradwell Cup Medal

The Gradwell Cup was shot for by the 4th Battalion of the King's Own and it's successor units.

  
Gradwell Cup Medal, 1949, awarded to Gunner E J T McCalmont of the 380th Anti-Tank Regiment Royal Artillery (Territorial Army) King's Own.  The 380th Anti-Tank Regiment had been formed from the 56th Anti-Tank Regiment which had been created in 1938 from the 4th (Territorial Army) Battalion of the King's Own Royal Regiment.  The Gradwell Cup had for many years been a competition within the 4th Battalion.
