Sergeant Alfred James Moseley


Grave of Sergeant Alfred James Moseley, number 3704203, 2nd Battalion, King’s Own Royal Regiment. Killed in Action at Gaza, Palestine 26th October 1938 age 31 years.  The 2nd Battalion Digest records “died as a result of discharge of very light pistol discharged by himself by accident”.  This soldier enlisted under the name of Alfred James Charter in the 1920s, and later his name is shown as Moseley.
