Letter from General Sir Archibald Hunter, Command Headquarters, Aldershot, dated 21st September 1916 addressed to a Miss Mackenzie.

Dear Miss Mackenzie
The King comes to us day after tomorrow to inspect 57th Division and stays to lunch.  The Queen joins him at Government House after lunch and they go together to a Military Fete organised at the Gymnasium here, in aid of our Aldershot Military Charities, so we are praying for good weather next Saturday.
Yours respectfully
Archibald Hunter
