Accession numbers: KO0292/05 & KO2561/05 HMS Shropshire HMS Shropshire was county class destroyer of the Royal Navy, launched in 1928 at Beardmore's Naval Construction Works, Dalmuir. She served with the Mediterranean Fleet until September 1939 and then operated trade protection duties in the South Atlantics. In 1943 she was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy.
