Unknown Lance Corporal and his wife, First World War.
The soldier has four overseas service chevrons and along with his King’s
Own cap badge and shoulder title has the badge of the 55th West
Lancashire Division on his arm.

Pioneer Sergeant and another Sergeant of the King’s Own photographed
with two ladies and four children. Both soldiers have King’s Own cap
badges and shoulder titles. Both are wearing 1914/15 Star ribbons and
the pioneer sergeant has two overseas service stripes, the sergeant has
four overseas service stripes, a wound stripe and a marksman's badge.
Dated 16 Jun 1919 and “with fondest love from Nellie and Saul, Ernie” on
the rear in pencil.
