Soldiers of the Regiment

Regimental Rolls

Soldiers who served with the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment and other regiments, and received their medals from non-King's Own Rolls.

King's Own and Ambulance

Listing soldiers of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment who received their First World War Stars, British War and Allied Victory Medals from other regiment's rolls.  Showing rank, name, King's Own number, and details of the other units they served with.   Note some soldiers will have their medals named to the King's Own, marked "R. Lanc.R." and others will be named to the other regiment.

Acting Corporal Walter Crompton KO Number: 20700 - King’s Own as Acting Corporal number 20700 and 2nd Lieutenant KO. Also served Royal Army Medical Corps 18th Field Ambulance

Captain Edmund Rupert Dermer - King’s Own Also served as Lieutenant Field Ambulance, Captain Royal Army Medical Corps, Captain Royal Field Artillery, Captain King's Own, and Captain Royal Berkshire Regiment.

Private J Garside KO Number: 352 - King’s Own Also Royal Army Medical Corps 1/3rd Lancaster Regiment Field Ambulance
