Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, King's Own Military Lodges

Little is know of the connection between the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) and their relationship to the King's Own Royal Regiment.  The indication is that military lodges did exist.  There are few records relating to King's Own Military Lodge Number 1537 or Number 612; however there is evidence of a soldier being a member of the King's Own Military Lodge Number 1308 in Hong Kong in 1898 when the 1st Battalion of the King's Own was based there.

We are not 100% sure that the King's Own Military Lodges all directly relate to the Regiment.
