Prisoners of War - The King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment Care Committee

Miss Emily Mildred Whelon was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services as Honorary Secretary of the Prisoner of War Care Committee.  The OBE is in the collections of Lancaster City Museum, donated in 1958.
