A slip of paper attached to the front cover has been torn off, this contained details of the postponement and the fact that Lord Hailsham, Chairman of the Imperial War Graves Commission was unable to take part as he was at the Imperial Conference in Ottawa, his place was taken by the Vice Chairman, Major-General Sir Fabian Ware.
