Cane Acquired by donor in Darjeeling in 1914. “I was in Darjeeling when the King’s Own were leaving (1914) I wanted them to have a wave from me and the best of trips. They threw their canes to the standing public and this one that I have fell at my feet. We heard later that so many lost their lives so I treasured it!” Letter from donor.
