Puggaree (Turban) Badges

Puggaree, puggree, pugree, or pugaree is the Indian word for turban (although it is also used by the British army for a cloth, or material, band wrapped around certain types of hat such as a bush hat.  The puggaree badges pictured here would have been worn by regimental servants in India.
