Private Nelson Close, number 28797 and 3702116, King’s Own Royal Regiment. Enlisted 1 Mar 1920 age 18 years and 323 days, at Lancaster. Lived Skerton. Discharged 29 Feb 1932. Re-enlisted into the 5th Battalion, King’s Own on 10 Nov 1938. Transferred to 107th Regiment RAC during the Second World War. Shown with the home address of 57 Green Lane, Skerton, Lancaster.
