Soldiers of the Regiment

Private Bernard Hull

Private Bernard Hull, number 3295 and later 241135, is shown as being overseas with the 2nd/5th Battalion of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment in 1917.  He was with 'C' Company in January 1917 just before the battalion left for the Western Front.



Postcard from Private B Hull, Park Hall Camp, Oswestry, Salop, dated 13th May 1916, addressed to Mrs Williams (or Rose) and signed from Bernard.  "Just a line to let you know I have not forgotten you.  I am still in the pink, but don't like being here.  I wish I was back with you all.  Best love. I remain Yours sincerely, Bernard.
