Silverdale, Lancashire, Great War Peace Medal

Featuring the war memorial, surrounded by ‘Their Name Liveth, Silverdale Lancashire’ on one side, and on the other: ‘Victory, Justice, Peace’ and ‘The Great War 1914-1919’.
At the unveiling of Silverdale War Memorial by Colonel Wadham of Dalton, in 1921, the Colonel then handed out bronze medals, provided by the Peace Council Committee) to the relatives of the fallen and the ex-servicemen. 26 men were recorded on the war memorial.
