Soldiers of the Regiment

Private William Frank Trayes

William Frank Trayes is shown as having trained with Number 13 Company of the 35th Training Reserve at Sutton Veny.  He later joined the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment and received the number 28225.  He served on the Western Front with the 7th Battalion and following their disbandment he continued his service with the 1st/4th Battalion of the King's Own.  His home address at the time of the First World War is shown as 1 Sargent Street, Bedminster.
