Soldiers of the Regiment

Private Thomas Bates

Private Thomas Bates, number 21557, of the 7th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment enlisted on 12th November 1915 and joined the 7th Battalion on the Western Front.  He was killed in action on 31st July 1917 and has no none grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres.
