Soldiers of the Regiment

Private Henry Miller

Private Henry Miller enlisted in around 1915 at the age of 17 years, and received the number 21541.  He served with the 6th Battalion of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment in Mesopotamia.  He caught malaria and dysentery and was hospitalised in Malta.  After recovering he was transferred to the East Lancashire Regiment.  After the war he transferred back to the King's Own and served with the 1st Battalion in Dublin up until 1922.
