Suggested that the man may be John Lacy Rowlandson’s father.

Part of a larger aerial photograph, marked "'A' Sqn" on the rear,
indicating it was probably used by Sergeant John Lacy Rowlandson when he
was with 'A' Squadron of the 107th Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps (The
King's Own). The aerial photograph covers the town of Groesbeek in
Holland, and land to the south and the River Maas, including S'Agatha,
Breedeweg and Milsbeek. The photograph was taken after September
1944 as the fields around Groesbeek are full of gliders. The area
was the landing zone for the 82nd Airborne during the Battle of Arnhem.
