HMT Dorsetshire
Built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast in 1920 as a Bibby Line freighter she was converted to trooping in 1927 at Barrow in Furness. She was sister ship to HMT Shropshire. She was converted to a hospital ship in 1939 and remained in service until 1948 when she was refurbished and became a migrant ship. In 1953 she carried her last troops from Liverpool to Korea.
