Soldiers of the Regiment

Private James Henry Whittam

Private James Henry Whittam, number 4860, of the 2nd/5th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.  There is no evidence to suggest that Private Whittam served overseas in the First World War, but it is known he was in Ashford, Kent, with the 2nd/5th Battalion, and later was at Rushmore Camp in Aldershot in September 1916.
