Weights for trouser bottoms

 


Wire spring filled with spent 9mm and .303 bullets in order to provide a weight for the bottom hem of battledress trousers, used by donor, Private Ted Cheetham, when serving with 1st Battalion, King’s Own Royal Regiment, circa 1950s.
