Soldiers of the Regiment Lieutenant Harold Newbury Morgan MC Lieutenant Harold Newbury Morgan was awarded the Military Cross (London Gazette 18th July 1917) whilst serving with the 8th Battalion of the King's Own for actions on 21st May 1917. He was awarded the Bar to the Military Cross, (London Gazette 26th July 1918) again with the 8th Battalion for action at Wancourt on 28th March 1918.
