1920s-1930s
Album: Private George Smith's Album
The museum's collection includes a large collection of albums and
photographs which were put together by Private George Smith, number
3708134, who enlisted on 4th June 1926 and served until 3rd February
1933 when he purchased his discharge. The photographs cover both
the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment in
Egypt, Sudan and Palestine.
