Company Sergeant Major Percy H Roy, MM, number 241610, 1st/5th Battalion, King’s Own.
Percy, from Blackpool, was awarded the Military Medal for gallantry in April 1918 during the battle of Givenchy when the 1st/5th Battalion was part of the 55th West Lancashire Division.
