Official Letter from King George VI and Queen to released Prisoners of War, 1918 received by Captain Leslie William Harries, of the 9th Battalion, King’s Own. Harries was captured in late 1915, a telegram sent on 9 Jan 1916 mentions his capture. He was released on 28 Oct 1918. He attempted to escape in the summer of 1916. He was a prisoner of war of the Bulgarians.
