Mrs Owtram's Letters from soldiers and their relatives, First World War.

Letter to Mrs Owtram from Mr and Mrs Wallis, of 60 Derby Road, Skerton, Lancaster re receipt of parcel for their son.
60 Derby Road, Skerton, Lancaster

Dear Madam,
I received your parcel on Saturday for which we are very thankful it was a proper God send and my son was delighted as it was such a help for him. I have 5 younger than him so you will have an idea what it is [like] these hard times and I have not heard from my eldest yet the one that is at the front and it is such kindness as yours is what helps us to bear it.

We remain Yours Truly
Mr and Mrs Wallis
