Dear Mother,
I know write these few lines to you hoping to find you quite well as it leave me well at present. I received a postcard from ? Newcastle Road asking me to send my full address. I think you should have my full address by now. I am sorry I can’t answer the PC I have a lot to answer and I want to write to you. I hardly know whose to answer so you might thank them for their kind postcards. I received your parcel alright. I hope Jack is alright I can’t tell you much more so I send my best love to you all at home and all relatives and friends from Will.
