In 2000 whilst the 1st Battalion, King's Own Royal Border Regiment was
on an operational tour of Bosnia, a party of soldiers from the Battle
group made a visit to Italy to see where the 1st Battalion, King's Own
had been in the Second World War. This photograph shows Peter
Donnelly, Curator, on the same railway bridge at Umbertide, holding a
copy of the photograph.
