Soldiers of the Regiment

2nd Lieutenant Christopher Hogarth Woodhouse

Details are sketchy about Christopher Hogarth Woodhouse, but it would appear he was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant on 29th August 1917.  He was attached to the 6th Battalion of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and then later served with the Machine Gun Corps as a Lieutenant.  It would appear he returned to the King's Own and joined the 5th Battalion from the Machine Gun Corps on 24th March 1921.  He resigned his commission in 1922.
For First World War service he received the British War and Allied Victory Medals.

Lieutenant Christopher Hogarth Woodhouse, from Morecambe.
Accession Number: KO2130/01
