Soldiers of the Regiment Lance Corporal J T Dewhurst Indian General Service Medal awarded to Lance Corporal J T Dewhurst of the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. India General Service 1854-1895 Medal with bar 'Hazara 1891' to Lance Corporal J T Dewhurst of the 2nd B Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. Awarded for operations of the Hazara Field Force, 12th March 1891 to 16th May 1891. The Regiment was not involved in this action and one can only assume Corporal Dewhurst was extra-regimentally employed at the time of the operation.
