Soldiers of the Regiment

Private Victor Harold Picking

Private Victor Harold Picking, number 3712349, enlisted on 25th October 1938, after basic training he served with the 2nd Battalion of the King's Own in Palestine.  He died at the age of 23 years on 20th September 1944 whilst attached to the 2nd Battalion, The Loyal Regiment.  He is buried in Tottenham Cemetery, the son of William Herbert and Harriet Emily Picking of South Tottenham.
