Soldiers of the Regiment Private William Graham This is believed to be Private William Graham, number 3708976, who enlisted on 24th August 1928 and served with the King's Own Royal Regiment until he was transferred to the Army Reserve on 10th April 1936. He was mobilised on 1st September 1939 and served again with the King's Own until 14th July 1940 when he was transferred to The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. His medals include the General Service Medal for Palestine, it is assumed he served in Palestine after mobilisation in 1939 with the 2nd Battalion.
