Soldiers of the Regiment

Private James Peters

Private James Peters, number 3713373, 1st Battalion, King's Own Royal Regiment, died at the age of 23 years as a prisoner of war on board the Italian Troopship, SS Scillin, 14th November 1942.  He is commemorated on Alamein Memorial. Son of James and Janet Alice Philipson Peters of Leyland.
