Commendation by Major General R W F Barnes, Commanding, 51st Division, to Private George Frederick Sturley, number 28597 of the 2nd/5th Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, dated 26th October, 1917.  Private Sturley had previously served with the Royal Army Service Corps as number T/4/042663
