Lance Corporal C Graham, number 4424, 3rd and 1st Battalions, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.
At Fulwell, Sunderland on 4 Dec 1914. Overseas 19 Jan 1915 to joined 1st King’s Own. Killed in action 2 May 1915. Son of Robert Graham of 24 Blackheath Vale, London. Husband of Mrs C Graham, of 8 Lampmead Road, London. Also served in the South African Campaign. Age 39. Commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial.
Also makes reference to Lance Corporal George Frederick Henry Copperwaite (or wrongly Copperthwaite), who was with 1st, 2nd and 6th King’s Own, number 10761. Overseas 23 Aug 1914. Killed in action with 6th King’s Own on 9 Feb 1917. Age 22. Son of Henry George and Annie Amelia Copperwaite, 25 Carlyle Avenue, Harlesden, London.
