Winner Hunter Stick Competition: Recruit Lance Corporal J Sharples, number 3711085. Winners inter-squad boxing competition, Nov 1935. Proceeded to join 2nd Battalion, King’s Own Royal Regiment, 28 Nov 1935 at Aldershot.
