Presented by Field Marshal Sir Claude Jacob GCB GCSI KCMG at Rawalpindi, India, on 27th January 1926. Retained by the 1st Battalion when the 2nd amalgamated with it on 22nd April 1949. Laid up in the King’s Chapel, Gibraltar, on 18th December 1955. Accession Number: KO0445/33 Telegraph received from His Majesty the King in 1926 on the occasion of the presentation of New Colours to the 2nd Battalion, King’s Own Royal Regiment, India.
