PHOTO GALLERY Second World War 1st (Barrow) Battalion, County of Lancaster, Home Guard. Four battalions of the Home Guard were badged to the King's Own Royal Regiment from 1940. The 1st Battalion was based in Barrow-in-Furness and the 2nd Battalion in North Lonsdale. Weapon training staff of the 1st (Barrow) Battalion,
