Various soldiers identified - ‘Twiggy’ Cartmel, a boxer from Blackpool,
and Irish chap, George Lambert, donor, and Charlie Walker.
Twiggy Cartmel is probably Private Harold Cartmell, number 1562, from
Blackpool, who was wounded at Ypres on 25 Apr 1915.
Charlie Walker could be 2430/240665 Private Charles Walker of both the
5th and 2nd/5th Battalion.
Assume Private George Lambert is number 1641 of the 5th Battalion, who
was wounded on 9 Apr 1915.
