Troopships - Empire Trooper

Empire Trooper
Built as the passenger ship ‘Cap Norte’ for the Hamburg South America Line in 1922, it was captured off the Faroes by HMS Belfast on 9th October 1939. In 1940 it became Empire Trooper under the Ministry of War Transport and managed by British India Steamship Navigation Company. The vessel was scrapped in 1955 at Inverkeithing in Scotland.
