2nd Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, in Jersey, 1908-1912

Regimental Displays, Jersey

Panoramic view of 'The Grand Finale' by the 2nd Battalion in Jersey.
In the foreground are the 'insurgents' being driven back by the attack which is supported by a section of the Jersey Artillery.  On the left is the band stand with the massed bands of the King's Own, Middlesex Regiment and the Jersey Militia Brigade.  The right hand photograph shows the Governors stand with the Union Jack and the one with the dark flag is the Regimental Stand.  Colonel Hibbert, commanding 2nd Battalion, is standing between the two stands wearing the straw hat.
