Photo Gallery The King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment and it's connection with Dover, Kent. The funeral of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas John Marker Lieutenant Colonel Thomas John Marker, Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion, King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, died of cerebral haemorrhage on 31st July 1913 whilst in command of the battalion. His funeral service was held in Dover on 5th August 1913.
