The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment

As part of the 'Future Infantry Structure' the British Army is being reorganised.  The King's Own Royal Border Regiment, The King's Regiment and the Queen's Lancashire Regiment are to be merged to form The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.  The Lancastrian and Cumbrian Volunteers will become the 4th (Volunteer) Battalion of the Regiment.

The new cap badge of the regiment was launched in January 2006.  It will be worn by all members of the new Duke of Lancaster's Regiment from 1st July 2006.
