1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Allied Victory Medals to Gunner William Corless, number 1077, Royal Field Artillery
Gunner William Corless, number 1077 and 680142, ‘B’ Battery, 276th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, died 6 May 1917, age 24 years. Son of William Corless and Ann Mary Corless of 8 Mary Street, Lancaster. Other members of his family served with the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment before and during the First World War.
