Soldiers of the Regiment

Sergeant John Bamber

Sergeant John Bamber, number 3765429, joined the King's Own Royal Regiment, from the 5th Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment on 23rd May 1926.  He served with the 1st Battalion of the King's Own and then was extra-regimentally employed during the Second World War.  He continued to 14th June 1949 when his service was further extended to 1953.
