bullet Cadet Richard Leslie Brown, number 6250, 28th London Regiment (Artists Rifles).  Attested for service on 21 Dec 1915 at the age of 18 and the book is dated 19 Feb 1916.  Brown was later commissioned into the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment and received the Albert Medal in 1917, later exchanged for the George Cross.  KO2695/01
